Wow! This year marks a milestone anniversary for Rinker’s Boat World—Happy 45th Anniversary to us! Nowadays, there are not that many companies that make it 45 years in business, much less remain, a family-owned and operated business that continues to grow and thrive each year that passes. A ‘5-Star’ rated boat dealership and voted as a ‘Top 100 Boat Dealerships in All of North America’, with 2 locations to choose from, Houston (the parent store started back in 1978) and now on the shores of Lake Conroe. Rinker’s Boat World remains selling, showcasing and expanding some of the TOP brands in the boating industry—COBALT, SUPRA, MOOMBA, SYLVAN Pontoons, SEA HUNT and NEW to the lineup, StarCraft MARINE deck boats.
Rinker’s Boat World opened our doors in 1978 in Houston. Boating and the Rinker Family date back several decades, from grandfather Lossie ‘LE’, to current owner, grandson Chris Rinker (with Chris’s children slowly entering in the mix). The Rinker Family lives and breathes boating and boat racing. The Rinker Family got their start back in the 1930s from humble beginnings and a strong Midwestern heritage, when Lossie ‘LE’ Rinker started building racing and fishing boats. The love of boating and racing was passed onto the next generation when sons John founded Rinker Boat Co. in 1945 and his brother Jerry started one of the most successful boat dealerships in Texas in 1978.
What is the secret to Rinker’s Boat World’s success? “We’re not competitor obsessed, but customer obsessed, states Chris Rinker. “We start with what the customer needs and work backwards.” Rinker’s Boat World is dedicated in helping our customers to have the best boat buying experience they can possibly have.
